When Amina and Briseis first encounter the Prima's corpse on the beach, Amina is desperate to do something about it, but Briseis drags her away. Amina later returns and buries the body alone. When Pyrrhus's men excavate the body, Amina reburies him. Briseis finds her digging in the sand, and helps her say the funeral prayers.
