What kind of relationship does Lisa share with her mother in the novel, The Women in Black?

Because Lisa is her only child, Cora is particularly attentive to her daughter. Not only does she make all of her clothes, but she even stays up with Lisa while she works on her endless amounts of homework. Throughout the novel, she and Lisa grow increasingly close.
