There is a bridge and a stone arch at the entrance of the village where Ned lives, seen when the queen's carriage passes over this on the way into the village. There are several shops here, including the shop where Ned purchases writing supplies for his mother. The village has quite a few homes. The forest is nearby as well as the Great River.
