When Wendy uses Steve's badge to access his offices, she is confronted by a private investigator who has been sent by a law firm to look into Steve’s product. It is believed that Steve is trying to scam people into investing in a product that does not really exist. The detective then accuses Wendy of being there at her son-in-law’s request to destroy evidence.
