Who is Toby Feake from The Winthrop Woman and what is their importance?

Toby Feake is Robert Feake's nephew. He comes to the colonies with skills as a sailor and tradesman. Toby assists Bess and Robert in their escape from Watertown, and he gives them shelter when they are forced to flee from Jack Winthrop's home. Toby, who is quite a bit younger, marries Anneke Patrick when Daniel dies, and becomes a very successful trader in New England.
