Lucille is Vanessa’s boss at Sak’s. Lucille eventually fires Vanessa not because she has shown up for work late so many times but because Vanessa hid several Alexander McQueen knit dresses in the stockroom. Vanessa had not been able to look at the dresses because they reminded her of the first night that Richard ever hurt her physically.
