What is the main setting in the novel, The Whole Town’s Talking?

Elmwood Springs is the town in which the book takes place. The novel takes place as the town is being formed and follows it through its downfall. Almost all major events occur in the town and it is what the town members are thinking that really drives the novel, all centered around who lives in Elmwood Springs.
