What is the importance of "The Boy" in the novel, The White Princess?

The Boy represents the uncertainty of Henry's reign. Both of the boys who plan against Henry - Lambert and Perkin - symbolize chaos within order. A reminder to Henry that he must continue to fight for the throne. It is only through the capture of Lambert and the death of Perkin that Henry finally finds temporary stability.
