The novel is told from the third-person perspective of an unknown narrator, who focuses primarily on Tiffany’s point of view. Being the main character, Tiffany's thoughts and feelings are described in great detail, as if the narrator has a window into her mind; however this manner of focus sometimes shifts onto characters such as Miss Tick and Granny Aching.
