Describe the way Louis is characterized in Section 7.

Section 7 has the reader encountering Louis as he muses upon his split with Rhoda. Louis acknowledges that he has used Rhoda, albeit for inspiration for his poetry, and now he has to come to terms with the fact that perhaps they were not meant for each other. Louis continues to write poetry, but the reader is aware that his insecurities prevent him from realizing his full potential, and he prefers the solitude of writing in his attic in the house in London rather than being at this new home in Surrey.
