In contrast to Susan, Jinny relishes her ability to live life moment by moment, and certainly would raise up in disgust if she were to live a life that had been planned out since her youth. Not only does Jinny relish the life she lives, she actively expresses this distaste for those who live any kind of static lifestyle. She describes in Section 6 the willingness she feels to travel anywhere with someone she has just met. However, by the end of Section 6, the reader is also given a sense that the way Jinny lives moment by moment is beginning to become a routine.
