Characterize the way Bernard appears in Section 5.

In Section 5, Bernard appears at least mildly hypocritical. While he acknowledges in the wake of Percival's death his role as the group's "strongest" member, he does not allow this realization to translate back into the group. Rather, he uses it to reinforce his own individuality and to move away from Rhoda and Neville, those who are most affected by Percival's death.
