Apollo is an example of personal growth and proof that people are more than their past. Apollo has made many mistakes. As a god, he hurt many people - both gods and mortals - and had little regard for those he deemed inferior. However, his time as Lester shows him how devastating those choices actually were. Even more importantly, he searches for a way to fix them. This shows the reader that people can change, no matter their mistakes.
