Lonnie, the youngest of Francis and Viola’s thirteen children, witnessed the ghost’s attack on his older brother, Charles. He is, however, the only one who will admit to remembering the attack, and he is the only one who supports Charles when he tries talking to his siblings about the fact that he is seeing it again.
