Louis from The Trumpet of the Swan is the swan without the ability to speak and do what is considered the most important thing to a swan, sing. He doesn't stop trying to better himself and learns to play the trumpet to get back his song. He makes money and is able to pay for the trumpet and clear his dad's name.
