Who is Mr. Grummage?

Mr. Doyle hires Grummage to make sure that Charlotte boards the Seahawk on time. When he learns that Charlotte will be the only girl on the ship, he shows no concern for her wellbeing. He is focused on finishing what he was paid to do and moving on.
