How is K. first introduced to Herr Block in “Block, the Corn Merchant – The Dismissal of the Lawyer”?

When K. decides to dismiss Dr. Huld, he finds a half-naked man, Block, with Leni. Leni runs off into the house wearing her shift, and Block tells K. that she has probably gone to make Dr. Huld’s soup for the evening.
