What is the importance of Clementine's school in the book, The Things We Keep: A Novel?

Clementine’s school is very important because it that is where she goes through a lot of her grief and where she finds out a lot about her father. She reads her poem at school and gets into a fight with Miranda. These are very pivotal scenes for Clementine's development.
