Interesting thesis statement for the short story "speaking of courage"

we must write a short paragraph about 15 sentances, making up our own theisis statement and i cant seem to come up a thesis

Talk about how Norman Bowker is actually a symbol for O'Brien himself due to the fact that Bowker means butcher and O'Brien purposfully wrote the charatcer O'brien as a former butcher. Then you could connect how the town is actually the war as the lake is the mud field in which Kiowa was killed. Then you could talk about how O'Brien keeps circling the field an can never quite relieve his burden of his feelings towards Kiowa's death, he can only circle it.
