Josh Stafford was the managing partner at the Stafford Law Firm. Troy Phelan had retained Josh for many years as his personal lawyer. He also took care of Nate when Nate was incapable of taking care of himself. Josh arranged Nate's rehab and conducted damage control when Nate embarrassed the law firm with his drunken appearances.
