What happens to Murasaki in Chapter 35?

In Chapter 35, Murasaki comes down with a high fever and falls very ill. Genji stays by her side during her sickness wishing that he could do something to comfort his wife. Murasaki begs Genji to become a nun but he will not allow it. Murasaki's illness continues to plague her.
