When Stevenson began investigating Hinton's case, he had his staff speak with various people related to the case and to Hinton. They spoke with Tom Dahl, the supervisor where Hinton was working on the night of the Quincy's robbery. They located other Manpower workers who were working with Hinton that night. They also spoke with Hinton's mother and people from Hinton's church.
