Serafina Pekkala from The Subtle Knife is a witch, very beautiful and very useful. She is a superb archer and flies upon a pine branch. Unlike every other adult in the story that is clopse to the main characters, Serafina is compastionate and totally devoted to Lyra. Her Deamon is a Snow Goose.
