How does Aleksandr Pushkin use imagery in The Stationmaster?

Pushkin makes wide use of sentimental imagery throughout the text. Some of the sentimental imagery introduced in the prologue is carried over into the narrative. The image of a stationmaster's "poor abode," mentioned in the first paragraph, recurs in connection with Vyrin, who lives in a "humble but neat dwelling."
