Who is Jeanine Hilt from The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down?

Jeanine Hilt was the CPS worker in charge of Lia's during the time she spent in foster care. She was concerned about Lia's continued state of deterioration, and took it upon herself to teach the Lees how to administer Lia's medication properly. Jeanine advocated for Lia tirelessly and was responsible for her eventual return home. She remained close to the family until her death in 1993.
