One huge change is Ur's shift from hunting to agriculture. Ur's wife introduces agriculture into Ur's hunter-gatherer lifestyle. He learns to plant, builds a dike, and expands their wheat crop. Ur responded to these changes by spending more time in the fields and less time hunting.

As a result, life changes include agriculture and self-sufficiency.
