Who is Frank from Heroes of Olympus, the, Book Two: The Son of Neptune and what is their importance?

Frank is Mars' son. He is initially seen as an oaf, but he later realizes that his special abilites make him important. Over the course of the novel, Frank learns to believe learns in himself.
