What events take place after Wendy finds Jack drunk on the floor?

Wendy tries to help Jack to his feet; he grabs her ankle and then her throat. He is strangling her when Danny appears. Wendy manages to hit him over the head with a wine bottle, and then she and Danny lock Jack in the pantry.
