What are the motifs in The Sex Chronicles: Shattering the Myth by Zane?

Sexual liberation is a recurring idea in the story. In accord with Zane's promotion of sexual liberation, many of the characters in "Sex Chronicles: Shattering the Myth" engage in sexual relationships in unconventional locations. In "Sock It To Me", the narrator has sex with Geren in the showers and boxing ring at Lou's Gym. Yardley and Clarence have sex on the fire escape at a jazz club in "Be My Valentine", and in "The Interstate", the narrator and her boyfriend have sex on a small dirt road off the interstate marked Authorized Vehicles Only. Tammy and Keanu have sex at Cutting Edge Barbershop in "The Barbershop", the narrator and her boyfriend have sex in a rest area in "The Airport", and SHE has sex with a college guy in the stacks of the university library in "Nervous".
