Evelyn arranges for her housekeeper to intercept a call from her doctor alerting Evelyn to her miscarriage. Evelyn acted distraught, and the housekeeper informed the tabloids that Evelyn had lost a pregnancy. In this way Evelyn manipulates the tabloids and erases the story about her refusing to have children with Don Adler.
