How has Jessica's friendship with Rosa evolved since Jessica first came back to school?

Jessica and Rosa have something very important in common.... they're both bound to their wheelchairs. Rosa's experience and understanding is a great thing for Jessica, but the two soon forge a close friendship based upon far more than their conditions. Over the course of the novel, we see Jessica suprpass Rosa's physical capabilities, but nothing diminishes the friendship they've acquired.
