Explain what kind of person Bucky is.

Bucky is one of Sam's friends. Over the course of the novel, we see Bucky badly beaten by the polive and wrongly arrested for a crime he didn't commit. Bucky's situation greatly influenced Sam's decision to join the Black Panther movement.
