What announcement is made at the meeting and why is it important?
In Chapter Eight, Leroy Jackson announces the death of Bobby Hutton at the meeting of the Black Panthers. Hutton was killed by Oakland police. Bobby Hutton was the first member of the Party to die for the cause. Leroy predicts that he will not be the last.
