This chapter takes place after the battle. Henry and Wilson return to camp and the other soldiers razz them. At first Henry is upset, but then he realizes that they really didn't cover a lot of ground. However, he is happy with how he handled himself on the field and we can tell that he is starting to grow up and view war in a more mature way. Later, the boys learn that the general had been speaking favorably about them.
