The lock rises to the sky and it becomes a star. Belinda is told to stop mourning her lost lock of hair because it adds new glory to the heavens. She is told that not all tresses will be envied like the lock she lost. Her lock will be immortalized. When Belinda dies, her name will be written among the stars.
