What handmaids does the queen have in the Cave of Spleen?

The queen has two handmaids standing by her throne who are very different in their appearance. One woman appears to be very old with a wrinkled body, and she is clad in black and white. The other handmaid appears sickly, and her cheeks are very flushed.
