What are some tasks that creatures of the air have?

Creatures of the air have various tasks that they have been given. Some guide the paths of the stars or roll the planets through the sky. Some chase shooting stars through the night, suck the mist of the air below, or dip their wings in the rainbows. Some start storms on the wintry seas. Others rule over the human race and guide their actions. The greatest of them guard the throne of Britain.
