What does Dr. Lynn do to try to conceal her identity, when out in public?

As not to get caught by the police, Dr. Lynn has been trying to conceal her identity when out in public. She tries to pass for an officer’s widow in a coat borrowed from a comrade who is married to a count. She also affects to be a little lame in her left leg.
