Dr. Lynn performs an autopsy on Ita. How is Julia affected by it?

Julia assists with Ita's autopsy and handles it well until Dr. Lynn pulls the baby boy from Ita's belly. Julia cannot stop the tears, as she thinks about the life this baby will never live, his poor mother who suffered much in her life, and the babies who died before him. She also thinks about his motherless siblings and grieving widower father.
