What does Angier note as the outcome of Borden pushing Julia down during one of their seances?

Angier notes in his journal that Borden pushing Julia down during one of their seances caused her to miscarry. This led Julia to a deep depression, where she spends all of her time in her room alone. Angier comments that he also suffers over the loss of the child, but he has his work to distract him. Angier decides to never allow her to be in danger again and hires an assistant to assist in the séances, but in between his own performances, he follows Alfred Borden's performances as well.
