After his prestige dies, what does Angier decide to do?

After his prestige dies, Angier decides to just let his family be. He decides to use the apparatus one last time and transport himself into the body of his recently diseased prestige, but he secretly hopes he will be able to reanimate the body by fusing the two pieces back together.
