C.G. Jung is a psychoanalyst. The extremes of soaring heights and subterranean depths are used to illustrate C.G. Jung's psychological nuances. Jung claims that fears inhabit a house. He uses the example of a prudent man who checks the attic for a suspicious noise but finding nothing in the attic decides it must be imagined rather than going down into the cellar to check there also.
