Who is Septima and Prosper Judd from The Persian Pickle Club and what is their importance?

Septima Judd is essentially the leader of the Persian Pickle Club. Domineering, practical and incisive, her bossiness is at times difficult to take, but at other times, the club has reason to be grateful for both her intelligence and her decisiveness. Prosper is Mrs. Judd's husband, an apparently quiet man and relatively minor character who nevertheless plays an important role inn the resolution of the murder mystery plot.
