There isn't a real protagonist in The Perfect Storm because technically it's conflict is Man vs Nature. There is no antagonist or protagonist. I guess you could associate the antagonist being the storm and the Protagonist being one of the characters who is on a Andrea Gail or maybe the rescuers.
