Who is Clara de Chambrun?

Clara de Chambrun is the new directress. She helped found the ALP in 1920. Along with Edith Wharton and Anne Morgan, she had been one of the original trustees. She and Hemingway shared the same publisher. During the past months, she has found donors to cover expenses. She is married to a French general.
