What happens that repairs the breach between Odile and Lily?

When Odile finds Lily going through her things, and Lily accuses her of writing the crow letters, Odile tells Lily to leave and never come back. They do not make up until Odile causes a fire in her kitchen by leaving cookies baking in the oven. Odile stays at Lily's house, and the two of them make up.
