How does Kitty feel when she realizes she is no longer in love with Charlie?

When Kitty realizes that the orphans have helped her to no longer think of Charlie and that she no longer loves him she is happy. She feels a sense of liberation to no longer yearn for him and she finds herself laughing at herself for falling in love with him in the first place.
