How does Ponyboy describe himself in chapter 1 and 7?

At the beginning of the book Ponyboy describes himself as having "light-brown, almost-red hair and greenish-gray eyes." He does not consider himself good-looking and says that he "rarely bothers to get a haircut," which he considers normal for a Greaser. Ponyboy says he likes sentimental things like sunsets and stories with meaning.
