Ownby asks John Wesley what he plans on doing as he gets older, but John Wesley is not sure. Ownby remarks that there are a lot of ways for a young man to make money nowadays, not like when he was young. In fact, the older he gets, the fewer things there are that he wants to do. There are some things, however, that a person just has to do, no matter how old they are, because unless he does them, he will not have any peace. All men want peace, especially old men like himself.
