The foreign musician was hired by Lord Furnivall to play at the Manor House. The musician taught the lord to play the organ. When the lord was playing the musician was either with Grace or Maude. He married Maude and they had a child. He would go away for months at a time and return to the house, but finally he stopped going to the Manor House because of Grace and Maude's fierce jealousy.
